MHPN has for some time had a successful Guest Speaker Register which aims to connect networks to prospective guest speakers who have indicated a willingness and interest to present at upcoming network meetings. If you would like to present at a MHPN network meeting, please fill out the form below.
Use of the Guest Speaker Register is limited to MHPN Project Officers and network coordinators for the sole purpose of organising guest speakers at network meetings. If you complete this form, your contact details will only be shared with MHPN Project Officers and if you consent, network coordinators.
Completing this form will take about 5-10 minutes. You will be asked to provide information such as:
- Your full name
- Your profession
- Your contact details
- Topics on which you can present
About the opportunity
Guest speakers can present in-person or online, as agreed upon between the network and the guest speaker. If you have a preference to only present online, please indicate this clearly in the form.
Please note that this is an opt-in opportunity and that completion of this form is not a guarantee of payment for presentations, as this is dependent on relevant opportunities and funding capacities within each network. While MHPN networks have an annual budget to facilitate costs associated with network meetings, the ability to reimburse presenters is determined by the available funds within a network's budget. If you require payment for your presentation, please indicate this clearly under the question "Is there any other information you would like us to know?".
What happens after I provide my details?
Your details will be added to MHPN's Guest Speaker Register automatically and you will receive an email to confirm your successful submission of the form shortly - you do not need to do anything further. If you do not receive this email within 48 hours, please check your junk / spam folder.
MHPN Project Officers will liaise with network coordinators to determine what speakers are available in their area. If your presentation subject is of interest and relevance to the network meeting, either the network coordinator and / or a MHPN Project Officer will contact you to discuss further details, as dependent on your preferences as indicated in your answer to the "Privacy" question towards the end of this form.
