Mental health clinicians practising in the Balmain area are invited to join a new supervision group in 2019.
The group will be coordinated by local psychiatrist Dr Anna Banning, meeting on the last Friday of the month from 10 am to 12 midday. Dr Banning has been supervising groups since 2011. Groups are small, consisting of 6-8 people.
Dr Banning is a psychiatrist with an eclectic orientation, but familiar with most of the current practices used. She started as a child and family psychiatrist with a psychodynamic orientation. However, she is happy with any orientation you bring for supervision and enjoys using role play as an experiential component of the work.
There is a nominal fee payable in advance for the year, but the first session is free and obligation free. If you would like to be considered for membership of this group, please email Ingrid Benge for more details.
