Natasha is a Clinical Psychologist and Director of Wise Institute, a psychology clinic in Crows Nest NSW, formerly known as The Clinical Psychology Centre. She founded this organisation 20 years ago with the aim of using innovative approaches to deliver evidence-based treatments to the local community. The organisation now provides services to over 1500 individuals per year, for a range of psychological conditions using face to face, telehealth and online formats.
Clinically, Natasha is a specialist in treating transdiagnostic emotion dysregulation difficulties, anxiety disorders, depression and eating disorders with children, adolescents and adults.
She has extensive training and experience in delivering DBT, CBT, Maudsley Family Based Therapy and uses Compassion Focussed Therapy and Schema Therapy with individuals who have personality disorders.
She is committed to the ongoing development of the profession through supervising colleagues and students, and conducting workshops, seminars and training to health professionals, teachers and parents. More recently Natasha has worked with a technology company to create and roll out a Virtual Reality program for educators, parents and high school students to deliver evidence-based emotion regulation strategies to high school students in the classroom within a virtual reality environment.
