This is a multidisciplinary network, with a focus on how to better support the mental health needs of people with disabilities in South Australia. The network provides a platform for professional development, updates on local services, referral pathways, and how services and individual practitioners can work together to meet the mental health needs of people residing in the local community. The network aims to meet four times per year.
This group is for Specialist Support Coordinators, Support Coordinators, Psychosocial Recovery Coaches, Allied Health practitioners and all other professions who are involved in supporting NDIS participants and/or people with a disability. This group focuses on how these roles can better understand and support NDIS participants and their carers and parents who are living with a psychosocial disability, a comorbid physical/psychosocial disability or are experiencing mental illness in general.
