The network will share knowledge and skills relating to the use of Creative Arts Therapy (visual art, movement, dance, drama, play and music therapy) in mental health.
The group aims to develop and strengthen networks and exchange ideas through presentations, case discussions and peer support. The network will meet bi-monthly in-person.The group is trauma-informed, person centred and inclusive.
This network is for people actively seeking collaborative support in the form of peer supervision, with like-minded critically reflective professionals to enhance practice and share insights. Building a network of supportive colleagues allows for the exchange of knowledge and experiences, fostering growth and innovation in our work. Together, we can better serve our clients and contribute to the broader mental health community. Ildi's passions include art, music, photography, walking and dogs, and growing my practice to include expressive therapies. These activities not only bring me joy but also inform my therapeutic approach, as I believe in the healing power of creative expression and connection with nature.
The Mental Health Professionals’ Network (MHPN) respectfully acknowledges the Wurundjeri and the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin nation, the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which our office is situated.
