Access free peer support and professional learning tailored to your local needs.

Mental health practitioners in rural and remote communities face unique challenges and barriers to service provision. With this in mind, MHPN tailor the support provided to interdisciplinary practitioner networks in these areas to access free, high-quality professional development and peer support opportunities, which are relevant to the needs of their local community.

A number of networks (shown below) are looking for a locally-based practitioner to volunteer in leading the network, with the support of MHPN.

This volunteer is called a Network Coordinator. With the full support of an MHPN Project Officer, who provides admin and financial support, the Coordinator works with network members to organise meetings that align with the unique needs of service providers in the local area.

If you see a need for local interdisciplinary collaboration in your area and would like to lead one of the networks below, or learn more about what’s involved in being a Coordinator please email the noted MHPN Project Officer.

If there is not a network in your local area listed below and you would like to establish one, please get in touch with networks@mhpn.org.au
