This network has a specific interest in suicide prevention. Network meetings consist of guest and member presentations, case discussions and peer support. This network aims to meet quarterly.
The WA Suicide Prevention Network was established in August 2017 as a tool to support a more connected suicide prevention community for Western Australia. The network objectives are to strengthen connections, provide a collective voice and build capacity across the WA suicide prevention sector. The network achieves these objectives through four online meetings per year.
This network is affiliated with Lifeline WA Suicide Prevention.
The Metro South Suicide Prevention MHPN is a large network with a specific interest focus on suicide prevention. Network meetings consist of guest presentations; and peer support. This network aims to meet quarterly.
Through a facilitated discussion of a case study, the interdisciplinary panel discuss Caitlin, a young woman who has attempted suicide before and may be at risk of doing so again.
