MHPN produces free-to-access professional development webinars featuring leading experts in a case-based discussion panel. Webinar participants are able to interact with panelists through Q&A sessions.

Participants can attend live by registering for an upcoming webinar. Alternatively, participants can watch past webinars on demand by accessing through the webinar library.

MHPN webinars may be eligible to count towards your CPD. Participants who attend a live broadcast will be issued a Statement of Attendance, and participants who watch webinar recordings are able to utilise a self-reporting CPD learning tool. Please contact your membership body for further information about CPD accreditation.

Children today may likely experience a growing number of climate and other disasters and emergencies. Mental health practitioners have a critical role to play in supporting infants, children and their families through trauma, leveraging their diverse strengths and identifying and responding to complex needs.

This webinar will explore effective disaster response. Providing a foundation for understanding disaster preparedness, response and recovery, the session will examine what effective support looks like in practice and how practitioners can contribute to positive outcomes for children and families.
