MHPN CEO Chris Gibbs reflects on the success of our national online conference: ALL TOGETHER BETTER – Collaborative Mental Health Care in a Changing World, held 28 – 30 March 2023.

2023 National Online Conference

In March, the Mental Health Professionals’ Network held its second online interdisciplinary conference, attracting over 5000 registrations and more than 10,000 session attendances across three days. Feedback was universally positive about the program and the versatility of the digital platform.

Our aim was to bring as much collaboration and interactivity to the online format as possible. Practitioners created unique professional profiles to network with other delegates, both in and out of sessions, and were provided many opportunities to actively participate in sessions, and importantly, to collaborate with one another throughout the program.

A particular objective was to showcase and grow our National Networks Program by engaging existing MHPN Network members and encouraging other delegates to join or establish a network, to foster interdiciplinary collaboration and networking beyond the conference. We are excited to follow the many network leads generated. We would like to thank network members for their engagement and feedback.

In addition to attracting many newcomers to MHPN, we are also pleased to have established new and deeper partnerships with a range of key state-wide and national stakeholders.

All Conference session recordings are now available in the Webinar Library.
