National Reconciliation Week 2025

This National Reconciliation Week 2025, MHPN reflected on the conversations that deepened our understanding of reconciliation, and how this understanding might shape the future of mental health care.

At events held on Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung Country, MHPN staff had the privilege of listening, learning and witnessing powerful expressions of culture, through storytelling, song, dance and ceremony. These moments brought to life the richness and resilience of the world’s oldest living cultures, deepening our understanding of what it means to walk together in reconciliation.

We thank the communities, Elders and organisers who shared their wisdom. We carry this learning forward in our work to support mental health professionals in collaboration, learning and culturally respectful practice.
