MHPN welcomes findings from Orygen’s latest Models of Care Sector Advice Report, which reiterate the evidence-backed potential of multidisciplinary and collaborative mental health care. We share this position, both embracing the reality of a fragmented system and working towards a future in which structured funding supports, strengthened digital capabilities and multiple, person-centred clinical frameworks improve outcomes for patients and professionals alike.

Good and sustainable multidisciplinary and collaborative care means prioritising innovation, integration and accessibility – particularly in this current climate. The mental health challenges faced by Australians across all life stages and cultural backgrounds are increasingly complex, as are the challenges faced by our diversified mental health workforce.
