Mental health professionals across Australia are invited to join a free, CPD-accredited multi-network event on Monday 29 June 2026, 6:30–8:30pm AEST.

This network meeting will explore a central question facing the mental health sector: Why has anxiety and emotional distress among young people risen so sharply in the digital age, and what should practitioners do about it?

The event will feature Dr Danielle Einstein, Clinical Psychologist, Researcher, and Author, whose three decades of experience in youth mental health and anxiety treatment have positioned her as one of Australia’s foremost voices on digital wellbeing.

Dr Einstein was the first Australian clinical psychologist to publicly call for school phone bans, based on her research into uncertainty and adolescent mental health. In 2024, she played a pivotal role in shaping national policy, providing independent expert evidence to the Senate Inquiry into social media ban legislation, and was formally thanked in Australian Parliament for her contribution.

Her influence has since extended internationally: In 2025, she presented at Protecting the Digital Future, a conference convened in Brunei. In 2026, she has presented to politicians, parents and Heads of Schools across the UK. Her Theory of Uncertainty has been disseminated globally and continues to inform clinical and policy discussions around youth digital health.

This two-hour session includes a 30-minute live Q&A.

Open to all MHPN network members. RSVP via this link.
