A few years ago, “Amy” was trapped in a domestic violence relationship, became pregnant and faced homelessness and uncertainty.
Since her escape, she has become a strong voice in educating frontline services and politicians, police and judiciary in the dynamics of domestic, family and sexual violence.
She has received several awards for her work, including her respectful relationships program for high schools and has been appointed to several State & National Committees.
Living with dv-related disabilities, she is passionate about prevention through education, speaking on topics including overcoming trauma & PTSD, single parenting and physical, emotional and spiritual ability.
Her powerful message has reached thousands across Australia over the past 9 years.
