Dr Bronwyn Hudson is an Addiction Physician and General Practitioner in Northern NSW. She holds positions at The Tweed and Lismore Base Hospital. Dr Hudson started her career as a General Practitioner and developed a passion for addiction medicine. She went on to re-train as an Addiction Physician and now works solely with people who have, or continue to use, substances. She takes a multi-disciplinary, whole of person care approach with harm minimisation firmly at the centre.

Dr Hudson provides trauma informed care. She is committed to fighting stigma against people who use substances and is an advocate for providing access to specialised addiction services in rural and regional Australia where she practises. She has a special interest in supporting women in domestic violence circumstances and working with perpetrators of domestic violence to induce behaviour change.  She is a member of the advocacy group Doctors Against Violence Towards Women.

Dr Bronwyn Hudson has presented on the following MHPN activities:

The Mental Health Professionals’ Network (MHPN) respectfully acknowledges the Wurundjeri and the Boonwurrung people of the Kulin nation, the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which our office is situated.
