Dr Claire Pickett is a General Practitioner working in regional Victoria.
Claire grew up in suburban Melbourne and attended Monash University. After graduation she moved to the country with her partner and felt at home living and working in a close-knit regional community.
Claire has been practising medicine for 35 years and her areas of interest include women’s health and LGBTI services.
She has lived experience as an autistic person and cares for many autistic people in her daily work. She particularly draws strength from her friendships and connections with other autistic doctors.
