Dr Maddi Derrick is a Clinical Psychologist and Board-approved supervisor, and the founding director of Hobart ADHD Consultants where she leads a team of psychologists providing neurodiversity-affirming assessment and intervention services for ADHD and co-occurring conditions.
Alongside her clinical work, Maddi provides training on assessment and non-pharmacological intervention for ADHD via the Australian Psychological Society, and provides ADHD-related training and consultation for a broad range of organisations in the health, education and community service sectors.
With lived experience of ADHD, Maddi is a passionate advocate for improving outcomes. She has been involved in a range of initiatives aiming for systemic change, including being a member of the development group for the ‘Australian Evidence-based Clinical Guideline for ADHD’.
