Dr Michele Pathé is a forensic psychiatrist and Professor at Swinburne University. She has worked as an operational psychiatrist with the Intelligence and Counter Terrorism Command in the Queensland Police Service, and she is currently the Clinical Lead for the Victorian Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (FTAC), a joint police/mental health unit within the Victoria Police Counter Terrorism Command.
She has a longstanding clinical and research interest in stalking, fixation and grievance-fuelled violence, and has authored three books, risk assessment tools and 100 academic papers in this field. She was awarded the 2018 Distinguished Achievement Award by the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals in the USA.
