Tim Usherwood is Emeritus Professor of General Practice at the University of Sydney; Honorary Professorial Fellow at the George Institute for Global Health; and Deputy Chair of the Board of Western Sydney Primary Health Network (WentWest Ltd).
He practiced clinically at Western Sydney Community Controlled Aboriginal Medical Service for 20 years, and subsequently at Western Sydney Sexual Health Centre and Public Health Unit.
Tim has published over 200 refereed research papers, with a focus on healthcare access, vascular disease, depression and asthma. He has lived with Tourette Syndrome for over 60 years.
