Kate has experience across both public and private tertiary health services, primary health, research and tertiary / university education services.
Kate is a Registered Nurse with post graduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing, she is also a registered clinical family therapist, has post graduate studies in organisational management and has a Masters in Conflict Resolution. Kate’s previous management and clinical experience and qualifications have been the foundation to her current leadership role at Outcome Health.
She established the MHNI Program in the Eastern Region of Melbourne with the highest GP uptake in the Nation.
Kate set up the “world first” Ambulance Triage service for Mental Health across the state of Victoria. This service has grown since inception and we have earlier this year taken over 100,000 calls with an 85% average downgrade.
Kate is also a credentialing reviewer for the ACMHN.
