Katryna Henry is a Senior Social Worker at Central Coast Area Health Service with the Eating Disorders Outpatient Service. Katryna has worked in the public mental health sector for over 25 years and in the private sector over the last seven years as a Mental Health Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor.
Katryna has over 15 years’ experience specialising in the field of Eating Disorders with extensive experience in the assessment and provision of evidence-based practice of Family Based Treatment (FBT) in the outpatient setting, and in particular with complex presentations.
Katryna has extensive experience in the provision of evidenced-based interventions to both adolescents and families and also adults within both the public and private sector. Katryna has provided consultation and supervision to clinicians within the public and private sector since 2017, in particular with children and adolescents and families in the provision of FBT.
Katryna continues to provide consultation and supervision to staff within the public and private setting nationally as part of the National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) credentialing packages.
Katryna is a member of Australia and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders and is an eating disorder credentialled clinician. Katryna is a consultant with the online consultation program provided by ANZAED.
