Professor Rhonda Wilson [RN CMHN BNSc MN(Hons) PhD FACMHN] is a mental health nursing scientist focused on digital health interventions. As Professor of Mental Health Nursing at RMIT University, she leads an innovative digital mental health nursing lab, supervising 12 PhD students. A Registered Nurse and Credentialed Mental Health Nurse, she has over 38 years of experience across Australia, Denmark, New Zealand, and Spain. A Wiradjuri descendant, she advocates for cultural safety and decolonisation in health and education. Professor Wilson has published extensively and led various international research programs. She has worked in rural and regional mental health nursing roles, commenced her academic career at UNE, and later held a position in Denmark to advance telepsychiatry. Currently, she is based on Darkinjung Country, Central Coast NSW, working for RMIT and serves as President of the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
