Tracey Hocking has over 20 years social work experience across multiple sectors including mental health, disability, aged care and domestic and family violence. Having held senior roles both in the UK and Australia, Tracey possesses in depth understanding of international and Australian based social work practices and legislation. Currently, she works for a Non-Government Organisation leading national teams delivering Residential and Outreach Sub-Acute services, as well as specialist NDIS services that include Clinical, Allied Health. As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Tracey provides expert consultation on complex cases across Mind’s services. With a deep commitment to trauma-informed care, Tracey is currently pursuing a Doctorate, researching how organisations understand and implement trauma-informed practices. She is passionate about fostering an environment where her team capabilities are grown through support and education, delivering improved standards and ultimately benefiting the client. This drive, coupled with her extensive experience and academic focus ensure that the services under her management are both innovative and clinically rigorous, with a focus on addressing complex needs both on an individual and systemic level.
