Deepika Ratnaike is a Senior Research Fellow at the Australian Institute of Primary Care and Ageing, La Trobe University. She has served as an external advisor on MHPN’s Evaluation Subcommittee since its inception in 2008.
Deepika Ratnaike has over 25 years’ experience in mental health research and evaluation of complex mental health and social service programs in primary, secondary and tertiary settings for government funded and community managed organisations.
She has been involved in developing, reviewing, evaluating and researching a wide range of service models and system-level improvement interventions across mental health including early intervention and stepped care, suicide prevention, public health, social welfare, homelessness, and community development. Models have included face to face service delivery, centralised as well as hub and spoke models, online and digital service offerings.
Her current work is focused on the design, implementation and evaluation of mental health, primary care and public health programs.
