Rupert Saunders

Networks Program Team Leader

Rupert is a registered psychologist with over a decade of experience across clinical, advisory, and leadership roles in the mental health sector. His work has spanned disability services, forensic mental health, trauma recovery, and youth mental health, with a strong focus on multidisciplinary care, clinical governance, and quality assurance. Holding a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), a Master of Psychology (Clinical), and currently undertaking a Master of Business Administration, Rupert demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous learning and brings a broad, interdisciplinary perspective to his work.

In his role at MHPN, Rupert leads the Networks team, supporting volunteer coordinators and national networks of mental health professionals. Rupert is passionate about reducing isolation among mental health professionals and improving outcomes for Australians experiencing mental health challenges.
