Rupert Saunders

Head of Online Professional Development

Rupert is a registered psychologist with more than ten years’ experience in clinical, advisory, and leadership roles across Australia’s mental health sector. His background includes work in disability, forensic, trauma, and youth mental health, with a strong focus on multidisciplinary care, clinical governance, and quality improvement.

As Head of Online Professional Development at MHPN, Rupert oversees national webinars, podcasts, and digital learning initiatives that strengthen collaboration and capability across the mental health workforce. He is passionate about supporting connected, confident professionals and improving outcomes for people experiencing mental health challenges.
