Assoc. Prof. Jo Beatson is a psychiatrist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist who has treated, supervised, written and taught about psychotherapeutic treatments for people with Borderline Personality Disorder over many years.

Her current focus is on the application of factors common to effective treatments for BPD in general psychiatric and primary health care settings.
