Chris Foley

Occupational Therapist

Chris Foley is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant at Strive Occupational Rehabilitation. 

He is an experienced occupational therapist and organisational development specialist with more than four decades of experience working with injured and mental health issues in government and private sector organisations. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) and is AHPRA registered, with postgraduate qualifications including a Master of Business Administration and Organisational Dynamics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Behaviour.  

This multidisciplinary background underpins his expertise in occupational health, psychological wellbeing, organisational systems, and trauma informed- practice. Chris has completed extensive professional certifications and specialist training, including mediation (Bond University), conflict management coaching, negotiation training, executive and management coaching, and advanced organisational change programs through Mount Eliza Business School.  

His training and clinical experience support trauma informed-, psychologically safe facilitation, particularly when working with individuals and teams exposed to complex psychosocial risks. 

Chris has demonstrated experience delivering vicarious trauma, burnout, wellbeing, resilience, and early stress intervention programs, particularly within high risk and human service environments. He regularly facilitates workshops and debriefing sessions addressing secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, psychological safety, leadership capability, and sustainable work practices. His facilitation style balances -evidence informed content with practical strategies, reflection, and skill development to support -long-term- wellbeing. 

As a past National Vice President of the Australian Rehabilitation Provider Association (ARPA), Chris is recognised for his leadership and contribution to the occupational rehabilitation sector. Through Strive Occupational Rehabilitation, he continues to lead and deliver high quality, -trauma informed- wellbeing and resilience programs that support individuals, teams, and organisations to remain healthy, engaged, and effective at work.
