Catherine balances her time between general practice at Family Doctors Highton, GP medical education with the RACGP, and managing her three children’s busy lives (and walking Murphy, her boisterous Golden Retriever).
Catherine enjoys all aspects of general practice, especially the opportunity to support patients maintain optimal health across a lifeline. Family Doctors Highton will soon be training GP registrars and Catherine will share the supervision with her colleagues in the clinic.
In her RACGP role, Catherine is the Lead for Medical Educator Professional Development, and wears many other hats in registrar and GP supervisor education and support. Previously, she has been a Senior Lecturer in Clinical and Communication Skills and a Clinical Advisor to the Indigenous Health Team at Deakin School of Medicine. She an enthusiastic member of the Education Committee of GPME Inc and a regular conference facilitator.
