Danny Sullivan is a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist; Executive Director of Clinical Services at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health (Forensicare), where he has worked since 2004.
He completed a medical degree at the University of Melbourne, and holds three Masters degrees: in Health and Medical Law (Melbourne); Bioethics (Monash); and Management (McGill). He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) and Associate Fellow in the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
In addition to his longstanding fulltime public mental health roles, he holds honorary academic appointments at the University of Melbourne and Swinburne University of Technology, and provides medicolegal assessments around Australia in criminal, coronial and regulatory matters.
