Dr Elizabeth McLindon

Research Fellow, Vic

Dr Elizabeth McLindon is a Research Fellow within the Sexual Abuse and Family Violence (SAFE) program at the University of Melbourne and a senior sexual assault Counsellor/Advocate at The Women’s CASA House.

Some of Liz’s past research has been focussed on the prevalence, impacts and implications of gender-based violence in the personal lives of health professionals. Liz’s research contributed to the development of the Strengthening Hospital Responses to Family Violence Program across Victorian public hospitals.

Liz is currently leading a new project about recovery and healing after sexual violence for survivors in Victoria.
