Ming Loh is a Geriatrician at Northern Beaches Hospital and is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He previously worked at Westmead Hospital for over 15 years and has had experience in multicultural dementia management, both in community and inpatient settings.
Ming’s main area of expertise is perioperative care of the elderly and he is active in committees within this field for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, the Agency for Clinical Innovation and the Clinical Excellence Commission.
Ming is a current clinician member of the New South Wales Ministry of Health Value Based Healthcare steering committee and is a federal councillor for the Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine (ANZSGM). He is the current New South Wales ANZSGM state president and is actively involved in advocacy in elderly care.
Ming is of Malaysian Chinese background but does not speak a word of Cantonese much to his parents’ ongoing dismay.
