Erin is a Rehabilitation Counsellor and has worked within the Injury Management industry for 15+ years. She has performed a variety of roles, including leadership, project management and case management under state-based workers compensation, Comcare and Transport Accident Commission (TAC) schemes. She has experience working with clients with mild-moderate physical injuries, primary and secondary psychological injuries sustained through transport accident or workplace incidents.
Erin is currently working within Australia Post’s Injury Management Team (self-insurance model under Comcare) as their Vocational Rehabilitation Services Manager – facilitating vocational redeployment for injured employees into safer and more sustainable career pathways. She is passionate about the health benefits of good work, early intervention, and matched care to optimise recovery and help prevent longer term disability. Erin believes a holistic, collaborative, and multidisciplinary approach to injury management is essential to helping employees achieve their personal, health and work-related goals.
Working within a self-insurance environment, enables Erin to draw upon her studies (Bachelor of Behavioural Science, Post Graduate Diploma of Rehabilitation Counselling and Masters of Business – Major in Personal Injury) in a practical setting to foster a safe workplace culture, coach and influence people managers on the important role they play in injury prevention, early intervention and person centred rehabilitation.
