Katrina spent her childhood in the open spaces of rural Central Queensland where she thrived in a small school before completing her Occupational Therapy degree at The University of Queensland in 1998. Katrina’s varied career led to 10 years working for Disability Services Queensland. This inspired her desire to contribute to the development of students and early career OTs, culminating in a clinical leadership role as Discipline Senior. Whilst in this role, Katrina was involved in curriculum development committees for OT courses at Southern Cross University, Griffith University, and high-level clinical support for OTs in the disability field.
Now working as one of three Directors of RAR Therapy, Katrina leads clinical practice across multidisciplinary teams to uphold excellence in services. Her passion for people inspires her work to build networks of therapists and Allied Health Assistants across rural areas of Australia with the aim of making a difference wherever people live, because every life matters.
