Keryl Egan

Keryl is a Clinical Psychologist with a broad range of experience as a clinician and educator. She was the Director of Training at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy and has trained psychotherapists from a number of disciplines including psychiatry, medicine, psychology and social work. She is currently the psychotherapy educator for trainee psychiatrists in the South East Sydney region and is in private practice in Balmain. She also runs multi-disciplinary workshops on workplace bullying.

Keryl has a special interest in people’s relationship to their work, the meaning it has for them and how they can maximise their capabilities and work satisfaction. In her practice, she frequently sees people for post-bullying trauma recovery. This work includes the consideration of counter-productive work behaviours, psychosocial safety at work and the impact of serial predatory bullying in the workplace.  Keryl has co-authored the book Workplace Bullying with Joseph Catanzariti (Vice President at the Fair Work Commission) which provides a combined psycho-legal perspective.
