Kim is a yoga teacher (Barkan Method Level I,II and III YRT 300hrs), meditation teacher (currently studying under Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach) and a certified SAHMRI Be Well trainer.
She was previously the Training Lead and Master Trainer of SAHMRI Be Well Co. In these roles, she trained thousands of people on evidence-based psychological skills. She also led the development of the Be Well Certified Trainer Program and trained the first six intakes of Be Well Co’s certified trainers.
Before discovering her passion to teach yoga, mindfulness and psychological skills, Kim worked as a Chartered Accountant in multi-national corporations in Singapore, Melbourne and London. She understands the stressors of working in a high-pressured environment while trying to raise a family.
Yoga, meditation and the Be Well programs had helped her deal with the challenges in her life calmly and with clarity. She is passionate to empower others to be able to do the same so that they could live a balanced and fulfilling life. She brings to her training a blend of Western psychology and Eastern spiritual teachings.
