Occupational Therapist, Vic
Panellists have generously contributed to our CPD webinars. Please note that they are not employed by MHPN, and we are unable to contact them or provide referrals on your behalf. Please do not send us patient details.

Lou Kerley (she/they) is an occupational therapist and researcher who is currently working in training and practice development at the Centre for Family Research and Evaluation. Lou completed her PhD exploring how sensory processing patterns shape, and are shaped by, our attachment relationships and experiences of adversity in childhood.

In her current role, Lou’s work is underpinned by intersectionality and a trauma-informed lens. She seeks to support practice that is accessible and responsive to all members of our society, including the most marginalised.

Lou Kerley has presented on the following MHPN activities:

The Mental Health Professionals’ Network (MHPN) respectfully acknowledges the Wurundjeri and the Boonwurrung people of the Kulin nation, the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which our office is situated. We also acknowledge Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. Find out more.
