Margarett Terry is Service Director and a Senior Clinical Psychologist at the Mental Health & Substance Use Service in Hunter New England Mental Health. This service works with clients with comorbid mental health and substance use issues and consists of a 22 bed inpatient unit and a centre based community team located at the Mater Hospital, Waratah. She is also a Conjoint Senior Lecturer with School of Psychology at University of Newcastle. Margarett has been working in the public system mental health field for many years and has also been involved in research more recently around smoking cessation with inpatient clients with mental illness.
