Vivienne works as the Clinical Services Coordinator for the Queensland, Transcultural Mental Health Centre. Vivienne is a social worker with over 20 years experience with particular expertise in child and youth mental health.
Vivienne works day to day with clients facing mental illness who are from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds. She leads a state wide consultation team to help improve the mental health care of CALD clients.
Vivienne has also undertaken collaborative research to better understand the characteristics of clients she works with as part of her role with the Queensland Transcultural Mental Health Centre (QTMHC). She has most recently received a research grant to measure the effectiveness of a practitioner developed assessment model for new and emerging communities.
