Zonia is an Occupational Therapist with a master’s degree in research. She is certified as an Informatics Analyst and trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Sensory Approaches. Her recent research centred on implementing therapeutic group programs within the public mental health sector. Zonia has recently founded the Living Well Team, dedicated to enhancing psychological interventions for consumers with Personality Disorders. This team was recognised as a finalist at Queensland’s Awards of Excellence.
Zonia is deeply committed to driving clinical improvement by delivering cutting-edge, evidence-based care to mental health consumers. She is actively involved in implementing virtual care initiatives in the Ipswich region through a consumer portal. This initiative aims to bring care closer to patients’ homes, empower consumers to take charge of their recovery journey, and provide clinicians with tools to deliver effective and efficient care.
