Kylie is the General Manager Professional and Public Interest at the Australian Psychological Society (APS), where she leads teams responsible for providing professional advice and resources for members, policy and research in psychology, and developing and delivering community-facing projects.
Kylie is passionate about mental health and has been a practising counselling psychologist for more than 30 years. She has experience across both public and private sectors, and expertise spanning adult, adolescent, and child mental health in rural, regional and metropolitan areas.
Alongside her role at the APS, Kylie maintains a private practice, which includes supervision of students on placement and registered psychologists. Throughout her career, she has worked collaboratively with other mental health practitioners and is committed to supporting and building the capacity and capability of the mental health workforce. Kylie was awarded Fellowship of the Australian Psychological Society in 2021.
