Central Coast Child and AdolescentMentalHealth is a medium network with a specific focus on youth mentalhealth. Central Coast Child and AdolescentMentalHealth meets quarterly, and these meetings feature guest presentations, case discussions and service overviews. This network is supported by headspace Gosford, Lake Haven and Wyong.
[SEEKING COORDINATOR] This network has a specific focus on child and adolescentmentalhealth. Network meetings consist of guest presentations, case study discussions, peer support, and panel discussions. This network aims to meet quarterly.
This network aims to support the mentalhealth of children and adolescents who have experienced developmental trauma and neglect, with a specific focus on neuroscience and trauma-informed allied health interventions.
Quarterly online network meetings will provide opportunities for trauma-informed professional development, strengthening of professional relationships and enhanced referral pathways between local practitioners.
This community aims to foster collegiate support and collaboration to deliver positive mentalhealth outcomes for Tasmanian children and their families. We seek to support all those who work in this space- including but not limited to child health and community nurses, GPs, private and school psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, paediatricians and child and adolescent psychiatrists. We are also keen to support students and trainees in these areas. We aim to meet once every second month online and hope to deliver an annual in person meeting if desired by members.
This network of Mentalhealth professionals includes various mentalhealth experts, such as clinical psychologists, child, adolescent and perinatal psychotherapists, clinical family therapists (and clinical supervisors), accredited mentalhealth social workers, counsellors and couples’ therapists. The network’s members are highly experienced in family therapy (internal family system), child parent psychotherapy, child adolescent and perinatal psychotherapy, couples therapy (Gottmann, Schema and EFT); family violence, grief and loss; trauma and developmental trauma, culturally sensitive practice, understanding the significance of language and culture; children and their family; youth and their family.
Furthermore, the network members work in community mentalhealth, private practice, educational institutions, family violence services, Child Protection, Grief and Loss Centre. the Dep. of Veterans, CALD community, and refugees and asylum seekers.
This network focuses on inclusive dyadic and family work, supporting different cultural groups. This would be in the forms of professional development, peer support and networking aiming to improve interdisciplinary mentalhealth work. Moreover, this network places significance on early interventions, as recommended by the MentalHealth Royal Commission, aiming at positive changes.
Thus, the network is keen to exchange experiences and knowledge with other networks about our work with children (including infants as part of the family), youth, individuals, couples and families, exploring the impact of the family’s mentalhealth on the community.
