This network brings together practitioners interested in better outcomes for people experiencing chronicpain. The network meetings provide a forum for practitioners all over Australia, to get professional development, connect, build relationships, provide peer support and improve referral pathways. The network aims to meet quarterly, and network meetings consists of presentations, guest speakers, case discussions and peer support.
This Journal Club brings together people working in mental and/or physical health with patients with persistent/chronicpain. The network meets quarterly to critically evaluate one or two recent articles from the related scientific literature.
The network aims to bring together mental health practitioners , inviting speakers for informal education sessions on a range of different topics relating to the treatment of chronic illness and the promotion of wellbeing. The association between mental and physical co-morbidities will be explored through topics such as mindfulness, obesity, chronicpain, eating disorders and diabetes.
