This network is dedicated to connecting professionals interested in clinical mental health research, therapies, and education related to Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy and Plant Medicine. We approach this work with integrity, focusing on scientific inquiry, therapeutic applications, and ethical considerations. We recognize the complex legal and cultural landscape surrounding psychedelics and plant medicine, both globally and within Australia. Our work adheres to existing laws while providing a thoughtful and mature platform for discussing policy, clinical contexts, and emerging evidence in mental health. We prioritize education, harm reduction, and professional dialogue to support safe and informed engagement with these modalities.

The Sensorimotor Psychotherapy & Somatic Therapy Network – Brisbane is a professional peer network dedicated to exploring and advancing body-oriented approaches in trauma therapy. This group brings together mental health professionals interested in the work of Pat Ogden and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy as well as other somatic therapies, and integrative modalities for working with complex trauma and dissociation. This network aims to meet quarterly Meetings provide access to Guest speaker presentations, case discussions, peer support, and networking, we aim to enhance clinical practice and promote embodied healing for trauma recovery.
