Courtney Schuurman is a qualified social worker, with over 10 years experience in a range of settings including hospital system, migrant and refugee and integrated family services.
Courtney is passionate about providing early life intervention with children and their families and has significant experience in supporting high risk, vulnerable infants and their families as a practitioner, mentor and manager of programs.
Her passion for making a difference for children’s early years, contributed to her pursuing post graduate studies in child and family practice, neurosequential model of clinical problem solving (trauma-informed practice) and infant mental health.
Courtney is currently the senior child mental health workforce consultant for Emerging Minds – Victoria and Tasmania.
