Samantha Clutton is a clinical psychologist who has worked in the field of psych-oncology – developing and delivering interventions to people affected by cancer, for the past 15 years. Samantha has a particular interest in the psychological adjustment to prostate cancer and has co-authored a number of scientific articles in peer reviewed journals in this area.
In particular, Samantha has worked on developing and trialling cognitive-behavioural interventions to facilitate couples coping following treatment, as well as mindfulness based interventions for men with localised and advanced prostate cancer.
Samantha has worked for 12 years as a clinical psychologist, and then manager of the Cancer Counselling Service at the Cancer Council Queensland.
Currently she works in private practice at the Cancer Wellbeing Centre in Brisbane.
