The Metro South Brisbane Activate MHPN is a network with a specific interest focus on physical and mental health. Network meetings consist of guest presentations; and peer support. This network aims to meet quarterly.
This network will assist with learning about clinical skills for working with Victims of Crime including understanding the relevant support services available to Victims of Crime, understanding the impacts of trauma on physical and mental health and understanding the legal implications of working with and supporting these populations. Sessions may also be allocated to specific skills for working with particular sub-groups of victims of crime (for example homocide, DV, Sexual Assault, Terrorism etc)
This Journal Club brings together people working in mental and/or physical health with patients with persistent/chronic pain. The network meets quarterly to critically evaluate one or two recent articles from the related scientific literature.

Meetings provide access to guest speakers, peer support, and case study discussions. The network meets quarterly. Join the network to be added to the mailing list and be invited to future meetings.
This is a large network with a focus on supporting clients with cancer and mental health issues. Meetings consist of presentations by members, guest experts, networking opportunities and peer support. It aims to meet quarterly.
Exercise plays a crucial supportive role in the treatment and ongoing management of a range of mental health conditions, including (but not limited to) supporting the physical health of those experiencing mental ill-health. This network will aim to provide a multidisciplinary platform for professional development and research updates, updates on models of care, referral pathways, and how services and individual practitioners can work together to use and support exercise to meet the mental, and physical health needs of their clients. The network will aim to meet at least 4 times per year and cover a range of presentations across the spectrum of mental health and illness, and in a range of settings (e.g., community through to inpatient care).
